Folks, after a long head coaching search, the Giants have decided to bring in Buffalo Bills Offensive Coordinator Brian Daboll to become the team’s next Head Coach. Daboll, 46, has been in the NFL since 2000 sans 2017 where he was the Alabama Offensive Coordinator.
Brian Daboll has done a lot of winning as an assistant as he has won five Super Bowls with the New England Patriots and a National Championship at the University of Alabama. While Daboll is from the Bill Belichick/Nick Saban tree, he definitely trends as a player’s coach and his players love playing for him.
Personally, I like this hire for the Giants. While the team didn’t hire one of my dream candidates, Daboll is a solid option for the team. He has shown that he has the ability to lead men and he gave one of the most moving speeches by a coordinator in recent memory.
With Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll bringing some much needed fresh air to the Giants organization, I’m really excited to see this team build something special. Hopefully this is the start of a beautiful new era for the New York Giants and their fans.
