Folks, when talking about schemes for the New York Giants over the last 15 years, very few people knew more than Eli Manning did. So naturally when a rookie running back, even if they’re the number two overall pick, thinks that they know more than him, he will put them in their place.
Absolutely hilarious.
To be fair, Saquon Barkley likely wasn’t being rude to Eli Manning. But if you’re coming at the king you better be well equipped.
As for Eli Manning, good job keeping Saquon Barkley honest as a rookie. Eli always got his players to buy in which is why he had so much success.
