Folks, we got some potentially really bad news on Buffalo Bills starting QB Josh Allen. According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, he is being evaluated for a UCL injury.
What is the UCL? It’s the Tommy John ligament. There’s a chance that if it’s torn he will need to get Tommy John surgery which would cost him the rest of this season.
Allen injured his elbow on the final drive during the Bills loss to the Jets on Sunday. Here’s a video of the injury.
In a season where star quarterbacks have been grossly underperforming, Josh Allen has been one of the few bright spots. It would really suck if this injury was serious. Here’s to hoping that Allen is able to play through whatever ails him.
