Folks, if you’ve been following us here at 366 Sports for a while, you’d know that we are massive Odell Beckham Jr. fans. We have been pining for his return to the Giants for the longest time and today he sent a strong signal that it could be happening and soon.
Bleacher Report tweeted that the Giants will be getting a new field next season and Odell Beckham Jr. responded favorably to that tweet.
Now, why would Odell Beckham have such a vested interest in that if he’s not planning on returning and playing here this season and next season? That’s a lot of love for someone who doesn’t plan on spending a lot of time on that field.
Now conspiracy theorists will say that Odell Beckham Jr. is excited because he’s been a victim of two ACL tears that have derailed the last couple of years of his career. But I’ve got no time for that negative energy. He’s clearly tweeting this because he’s coming home.
So the Giants just have to keep winning just a little bit longer. If this team is 8-3 or 9-2 heading into December then there won’t be a better place to play than New York and coach Daboll. Let’s hope that the field surface change that’s coming will make the Giants an even more enticing place.
